The first political party on the ballot, ACCORD in Akwa Ibom State has said it is targeting One million two hundred thousand votes for the party’s Governorship candidate, Engr. Emem Coffie FNICE, COREN ahead of the 2023 general election.
The state Chairman of the party, Rt Hon Martins Ansa, made the disclosure in Uyo on Thursday while speaking on the level of preparedness for the party’s campaign flag-off and unveiling of their deputy governorship candidate scheduled for Saturday, November 26.
Ansa said the party has concluded plans to embark on a door-to-door campaign across the 31 Local Government Areas of the state and has all it takes to win the forthcoming elections.
“Immediately after the Saturday mega event, we are going to begin a door-to-door campaign for our candidates across the state because we are targeting 1.2 million votes for our governorship candidate and other standard bearers of ACCORD in Akwa Ibom. We will work hard towards ensuring victory for all our candidates.”
ACCORD state Chairman called on Akwa Ibom electorate to vote for his governorship candidate, Emem Coffie, saying, the Engineer – turned politician ready and determined to fix the State’s socio-economic and political challenges.
He used the occasion to invite all and sundry to Mayflower School football field beside Ewet Housing/Oron Road traffic light on Saturday, for what he called, father of all political campaign flag-off, unveiling of the party’s deputy governorship candidate and presentation of flags to all standard bearers of ACCORD in Akwa Ibom.
