Hon. Onofiok Luke took the last lap of his Local government tour to the people of Etinan Federal Constituency to solicit their support to enable him become Governor of Akwa Ibom come 2023.
The Amazing Grace Campaign team first landed at Etinan, then moved to Nsit Ibom before rounding off at Nsit Ubium, the birthplace of the Governorship Hopeful.
Speaking at the area to conclude his Local Governments tour to consult the People’s Democratic Party, PDP stakeholders and officers in the Thirty One Local Government Areas of the State, the aspirant assured the people that his aspiration which started years back is predicated on his commitment to build a stable and economically viable State consolidating on the achievements of the previous administrations.
Hon. Luke stated that having studied the previous governments and holding several positions within and outside the State, he has the experience and capacity to become the next governor of Akwa Ibom State
The Federal Lawmaker called on the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party to institute a significant reward system for faithful party members.
Luke urged the party hierarchy in the State to ensure that aspirants are given level playing ground to ensure that peace continues to reign in the state.
He promised to make God the centre of his administration when elected into office and the growth of Akwa Ibom people his priority.
The Governorship aspirant applauded the people for receiving him warmly, assuring that they will build and grow together for prosperity in Akwa Ibom State
He prayed for Governor Udom Emmanuel to succeed in his completion agenda and encouraged the people to join hands to support the Governor to succeed.
Responding, the PDP Chapter chairman for Etinan, Dr Inemesit Itina said Mr Luke has offered effective representation in the House of Representatives and assured that the chapter will examine the blueprints presented by the aspirant and take a stand.
His Nsit Ubium counterpart, Mr. Edet Inyangeno thanked Mr Luke for his impactful representation at the National Assembly and prayed God to guide him to succeed in his ambition.
