As family members, friends and associates of Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, at home and in the Diaspora, roll out the drums to celebrate God’s faithfulness in the life of the State’s number one citizen, his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Uko Umoh, has opined that a quintessential leader like the governor deserves a standing ovation .
Akwa Ibom Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel was born on July 11, 1966. He is turning 56 today.
In a congratulatory message issued by Mr. Umoh, fondly called, ‘Uko Biafra’, and made available to newsmen in Uyo, he stated: “Your Excellency, My boss and leader, 11 July has become so iconic just like your numerous legacies and outstanding achievements spread all over the State that is benefiting Akwa Ibomites today.”
He added: “As people from different strata of life beat the drums in celebration of our Christ-centric leader and Captain of Team Akwa Ibom, all should be remindful that the singular reward needed by the Governor is for all and sundry to support him with their ardent prayers for His Excellency’s Completion Agenda and Succession Plan.”
The Etinan LGA born Publisher-cum-heavyweight politician, expressed gratitude to God for rewarding Akwa Ibom with Governor Emmanuel, whom he said, has displayed a high sense of leadership, in directing the affairs of the State in the last seven years.
Umoh, however, wished his boss a happy birthday celebration with robust health and prayed God to grant him more wisdom and good health to continue to contribute his quota to the development of not only Akwa Ibom State but Nigeria at large.
