ACCORD Guber Candidate in Akwa Ibom, Coffie Commiserates OBA over Brother, Staff Death

The Governorship Candidate of ACCORD party in Akwa Ibom State, Engr. Emem Coffie, has expressed deep condolences to the Senator representing Uyo Senatorial District at the National Assembly and YPP’s governorship candidate, Obong Bassey Albert (OBA), on the death of his brother and two staff members.

The deceased include OBA’s brother, Robert Albert Akpan, his Personal Assistant, Imo Isang, and orderly, Inspector Odey.

In a condolence message signed by the highly revered and COREN certified Engineer turned politician, Coffie, regretted that he and the entire members of ACCORD received the news with shock and disillusionment.

Part of the message sent to Senator Albert read: “While we were yet to come to terms with the piercing news of the unfortunate passing of your younger brother Robert, the entire state is yet again confounded at the news of the gruesome murder of two of your aides by unknown gun men somewhere in Imo state.

“As humans we cannot help the bewilderment that comes with the phase, but we are also reminded the vanities of life that help draw us even closer to the creator.

“Our prayers are with you, their immediate families and the entire Akwa Ibom State community soaked in this trauma.

“Be strengthened in the hope that beyond here there is life eternal where we will have glorious moments with departed loved ones.”
