AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR SIGNS CONTRACT FOR $1.4B FERTILIZER PLANT

In line with his industrialization drive, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has signed an agreement for the citing of a fertilizer plant in the leading oil rich State.

However, information from the Facebook timeline of the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy; Barr. Ini Ememobong, indicated that the agreement which is between the OCP Africa, the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority and the Akwa Ibom State Government will birth one of the biggest investments in the fertilizer production industry worldwide.

The signing for a $1.4b fertilizer plant is a proof that the industrialization dream of the governor is gradually yielding result.
