The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Akwa Ibom State, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin arrived Lagos, to witness and lend support to an Akwa Ibom daughter, Hilda Baci who is at the verge of setting a Guinness World Record with her Cook-A-Thon.
Hilda, a native of Nsit Ubium, Akwa Ibom State is out to fulfill her lifetime dream to break the current Guinness Record for the longest cooking time by an individual.
The 4-Day cooking exercise commenced 2 days ago in Lagos. She stated that she will cook for four days and four nights to break the 87 hours, 45 minutes set by Chef Lata London in Rewa, India in 2019.
Mr Esin delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the government and the people, who had stormed the streets of Uyo in solidarity to her.
