The Governorship Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Onofiok Luke today, led the Amazing Grace Campaign Organisation to consult all councilors from the 31 Local Government Areas of the State.
Addressing the councilors, Hon. Luke informed them formally of his intention to become the next governor of Akwa Ibom State come 2023.
He assured them that he is fully prepared to govern the state, following his antecedents in the offices he had occupied in the past and at present as the Member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom/ Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency.
During the event, the governorship hopeful addressed the councilors according to their Local Government Areas, telling them the peculiar challenges in their LGAs and the solutions he will proffer when he becomes governor in 2023.
Responding on behalf the councilors, Hon. Edem expressed appreciation to the aspirant for finding time to meet with them. She added that she was impressed at his knowledge of every nook and cranny of the state and what needs to be done to ensure a better future for Akwa Ibom people. She prayed for God to grant him success.
Hon. Luke solicited maximum support from the councilors to enable him succeed in his aspiration.
