The Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, today granted bail to the incarcerated Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Akwa Ibom State, Senator Bassey Albert.
OBA, as he is popularly called, was convicted Thursday, December 1 this year, by Agatha Okeke of the Federal High Court in Uyo, in a case many pundits say it was politically motivated.
Details of the session at Appellate Court today in Port Harcourt will come shorty.
