Benin Vs Nigeria: SUPER EAGLES TRAIN IN DARKNESS

Super Eagles trained in darkness at the Stade Charles de Gaulle, Porto-Novo on Friday ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.

The paper can authoritatively report that the stadium officials put off the light at the ground for the entire duration of the team’s training session.

Nigerian journalists were also barred from entering the stadium.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to face the Squirrels at the Stade Charles de Gaulle, Porto-Novo on Saturday at 5pm Nigerian time.

Nigeria top Group L with eight points after four rounds of matches, while Benin are second with seven points.

Complete Sports reports that a draw in today’s match will guarantee the Super Eagles passage to the AFCON to be hosted by Cameroon in January.
