…Members take to street in protest, want Udoedehe sacked over manipulation

Scores of protesters on Saturday stormed the Akwa Ibom State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) located on Ikot Ekpene Road in Uyo, burned scrap tyres, shut the every busy road and demanded the immediate sack of the National Secretary of the party; Senator John James Udoedeghe.
The angry members of the party led by one of their youth leaders from Nsit Ibom LGA; Hon Clement Awakessien, said the party in the State was against the manipulation of Ward and Chapter EXCO Congress candidates list by Senator Udoedeghe.
They also lamented that the fortunes of the party have dwindled since the present members of the SWC led by Dr. Ita Udosen came on board.
