Users worldwide are reporting a massive outage across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, all owned by Meta.
TheHILL Tech Reporter observed that frustrations mounted at about 4:18pm of Tuesday when users found themselves abruptly logged out and unable to access the platforms.
Specifically, Facebook users were unable to log in, while Instagram remains entirely inaccessible. Despite the widespread disruption, WhatsApp, another Meta-owned platform, seemed unaffected.
At the time of this report, Meta has not provided official updates via its usual channels, leaving users in the dark about the cause and expected resolution of the outage.
