BREAKING: Okorocha’s in-law Nwosu abducted in Church

TheHILL | METRO| DECEMBER 26.

Mr. Uche Nwosu, the Son-in-law to former Imo State Governor; Senator Rochas Okorocha; has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen.

The unfortunate situation took place Sunday at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of the State, during the Thanksgiving Service of the victim’s mother, late Jemamah Nwosu.

Nwosu and his family members were in the village for the burial last weekend.

According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen who operated in an Armoured Personnel Carrier and Hilux vans, stormed the church while service was still on and shot into in the air before taking their target away as his security operatives watched without resisting the gun-wielding persons.

They thereafter bundled the former Imo State Governorship candidate into the trunk of a waiting vehicle.

However, the police spokesperson for the Imo State command, Micheal Abattam, when contacted, said that he was not aware of the incident. He promised to update the public once he was briefed by security operatives in whose division the incident happened.

Details shortly….
