Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has commended the Member representing Uyo State Constituency at the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Anietie Eka, for justifying the confidence reposed in him by the people.
Speaking at the Thanksgiving Service to mark the Lawmaker’s two years in office at the Apostolic Church, Obio Imo Street, Uyo, the Governor described Hon. Anietie Eka over what he described as effective representation.
Represented by the Commissioner for Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport, Mr. Akan Okon, Gov. Emmanuel said the Uyo Representative has also shown commitment to the Completion Agenda of the current administration.
“I want to thank God for the life Hon. Anietie Eka. Your being a House of Assembly Member today was not made possible by any human being. It is God that gave you that position. You have been one of those people in the House of Assembly that have supported the Completion Agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel. The number of people that has come out for this Thanksgiving, is a demonstration of the fact that you have representing Uyo people well”, he said.
Governor Emmanuel stressed the need for thanksgiving, saying; “when you give thanks to God for what He has done, He’ll position you for more blessings. I believe that with what you’ve done today, there will be more blessings for Uyo State Constituency and your family.”
He further appreciated the Church for remaining fervent in praying for the success of his administration and made cash donation in support of the event.
