The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Frank Archibong, on Saturday, lauded Governor Udom Emmanuel for his genuine commitment and zeal towards the development of our dear State.
Mr Archibong made the commendation during the Commissioning of the official residence of the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs.
As one who oversees the traditional affairs in the state, Archibong described the Governor to be a focused pragmatic leader and father, who through his completion agenda has spread life touching projects across the thirty-one local government in Akwa Ibom State.
The Commissioner stated that the people are witnesses of the numerous developmental pace of the Governor, which he said is cut across every sector of the economy.
“Your Excellency, I must say that coming to commission this very beautiful magnificent edifice that you have put together for our Royal fathers is worth commendation” He said.
Archibong maintained that Governor Emmanuel has placed the traditional rulers on his priority list and holds the traditional stool in high esteem, thus according it the necessary requirements and facilities to function effectively.
The magnificent edifice, equipped with the state of the art facilities was carefully supervised by the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, led by Hon. Frank Archibong.
The building was commissioned by the Executive Governor of Sokoto State,Rt. Hon.Aminu Tambuwal.
In attendance were; Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State,HE Mr Moses Ekpo,Her Excellency,Dr Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel,Speaker Akwa Ibom State of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Aniekan Bassey, Secretary of the State Government,Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem, Senator Bassey Albert, Rt.Hon.Onofiok Luke, Rt.Hon. Patrick Ifon, Members of the State Executive Council, ALGON Akwa Ibom State, Paramount Rulers led by the Chairman, Ntenyin Dr Solomon Etuk,Mr Akan Udofia,Party Chieftains, Stakeholders, women and youth groups across the State.
