Ibom Air makes history, begins first direct flight from Lagos to Accra today

In a major milestone for Ibom Air, the airline is launching its first direct flight this morning from Lagos to Accra, the capital of Ghana.

TheHILL can authoritatively report that, the inaugural flight will depart Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at 7am (Nigerian time) and arrive Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana, at 7am, Local time (8am Nigerian time).

However, this new route will expand the airline’s reach and offers travelers a new option for convenient and comfortable air travel between the two West African Countries.

Since its launch on June 7, 2019, Ibom Air has set the standard for domestic airlines in Nigeria, focusing on schedule reliability, on-time performance, and excellent customer service.

The airline, which is owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government, has quickly become the preferred choice for air travel within Nigeria.
