Ikim Calls On New Couples To Focus On God

 

The Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency (AKSEPWMA), Deacon Prince Ikim, has urged newlyweds to center their lives around God, emphasizing that this is a key to a happy life.

The Deacon of the Redeemed Church made this appeal during the traditional marriage ceremony of Miss Anne Francis Bassey and Mr. Emmanuel Eddie Moma, which took place yesterday in Use Offot, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Accompanied by his wife, Deaconess Scholarstica Ikim, as well as board members, management, and staff of AKSEPWMA, Ikim congratulated the couple on their successful union. He advised them to keep third parties out of their family affairs, regardless of the circumstances.

The vibrant event featured traditional dance, comedy, an abundance of food and drinks, and heartfelt prayers by Mrs. Ikim, who prayed fervently for the couple, entrusting them to God’s protection.

Dignitaries in attendance included AKSEPWMA board members; Hon. Victor Henry, Prince Charles Ememobong, Engr. Ekaete Inyang FNSE, and Engr. Anietie Elijah. Also present were Mr. Ikpim E. Ikpim, Head of Administration at AKSEPWMA; Mrs. Eno Effiong, Head of Accounts; Mr. Daniel Harry, Head of PRS; Mr. Emmanuel Emma, Head of Waste; Mr. John Effiong, Head of Environmental Health; and Mrs. Diamond Ifiok, Information Officer, along with other staff members of the agency.
