JUBILEE SYRINGE DAZZLES NANNM AS COMPANY WINS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

The innovative ingenuity and conscious commitment to excellence of Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company, Africa’s reputed largest syringe manufacturer, Onna, was once again extolled and celebrated Tuesday, October 26, 2021 as the Company clinched an Award of Excellence at the ongoing 2021 Nurses Week Celebration/Scientific Conference at the Cardinal Ekanem Hall, James Moynagh Catholic Pastoral Centre, Dominic Utuk Avenue, off Wellington Bassey Way,Uyo.

The event which was organised by the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives ( NANNM) Akwa Ibom State Council in collaboration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria began on the 24th and has as its theme, ” NURSES: A VOICE TO LEAD, A VISION FOR FUTURE HEALTHCARE”.

Presenting the award to the Managing Director of Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company, the State Chairman of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Akwa Ibom State Council, Nurse (Comrade) Emem David said the award was in recognition of the drive, innovation, ingenuity and conscious commitment to excellence and unparalleled contributions of the Company to the development of the medical profession to which Nursing and Midwifery belongs, not just in Nigeria but particularly in Akwa Ibom State.

Comrade Emem David said the award was intended to not only reward commitment to excellence but to spur the organisation to do more for global health in years to come, describing Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company as a worthy and trusted partner in health delivery.

He stressed that the organisation amongst all other awardees has distinguished it self in community service hence, was given due consideration for the Award of Excellence.

He thanked the Managing Director of the Company, for the sustained partnership with NANNM since its establishment, expressing trust for a more robust, cohesive and lasting relationship in the future.

Responding, a representative of Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company, Pharmacist Udeme Udoh, thanked the State Chairman of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Comrade Emem David for recognising the modest contributions of her company which she said was just relatively young.
She expressed fervent appreciation to NANNM for the acceptance of her company’s products in their day-to-day dispensation of medical treatments and health intended services to Akwa Ibom people fundamentally and humanity in general, promising to constantly remain a bridge in furtherance of health acquisition on a global scale.

She revealed that latest cutting edge and top notch equipments in line with global trend will soon be rolled out by the company, soliciting patronage.

Amongst other awardees was the Chairman Akwa Ibom House of Assembly Committee on Health and Member representing Abak State Constituency, Hon. ( Elder) Udeme Otong, Chairman Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) , Comrade Sunny James, immediate past State Chairman of NANNM, Comr. Patrick Odu; NR. ( Mrs) Nyenime Effiakedoho, Director of Nursing Services, Ministry of Health; Isantim Kenneth Okon, an SA to the Governor, NR. Patricia Usuakpan Ekanem of the Hospitals Management Board; Nurse Nnena Awah, Dir. of Nursing, Uniuyo Teaching Hospital.
