JUST IN: DSS bows to court order, charges Emefiele

The Department of State Services, DSS, has finally charged the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, to court.

Recall that an Abuja High Court earlier today ordered the secret police to charge Emefiele to court within one week or get him released.

DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, confirmed to Channels Television on Thursday night that Emefiele has been charged to court in compliance with the court order.
