Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has ordered the immediate dissolution of all non-statutory Boards, Agencies and Commissions in the state.
The directive was conveyed to heads of ministries, departments and agencies by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah.
The memo directing the MDAs to give effect to the dissolution dated 21st June, 2023 and reads as follows: “His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has approved the dissolution of all Non-Statutory Boards, Agencies and Commissions in the State.
“All affected officials are by this Press Release directed to handover to the most Senior Civil servant in their respective Boards, Agencies and Commissions.
“This dissolution takes immediate effect.”
