… Pledges additional 1.6m to petty traders in Okat
Member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom/ Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, Rep. Onofiok Luke has donated the sum of One Million Naira (#1m) to Dudu Foundation at its grand launch held in Okat, Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State on Monday.
Luke commended the initiator of the foundation, Edu Offong. He said that her action is noble and should be emulated. He announced an additional 1.6m Naira to petty traders in Okat to help them cope with the economic hardship and difficulty brought about by COVID 19.
The event had in attendance the member representing Ikot Ekpene/ Obot Akara State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mr Idongesit Ntekpere, traditional rulers and chiefs in Okat, women, youths and others.
