Ongoing: PDP GOVERNORS IN CLOSED DOOR RECONCILIATION MEETING

Governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently locked in a closed-door meeting with the Senator Bukola Saraki-led National Reconciliation and Strategy Committee.

 

Also at the meeting are members of the Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee to forge a way forward for the party.

 

The meeting which is holding at the Sokoto State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, is expected to among other things, take stock of progress so far made in reconciling aggrieved members as well as ways of mediating in the internal disputes among some party leaders.

 

The Punch first reported that Governors at the meeting include Aminu Tambuwual (Sokoto), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Samual Ortom (Benue) and Ifeanyi Ugwanyi (Enugu) among others.
