The leading PDP Governorship aspirants in Akwa Ibom, Mr Onofiok Luke says he is running the Governorship election on his antecedent and track record of excellence.
According to him, the generality of Akwa Ibom people have already attested to the fact that he is the best foot forward in the 2023 gubernatorial election.
Luke was speaking on Friday morning at a live joint Radio broadcast to lay bare his building together, growing together agenda to the people of the State.
The aspirant who is the member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom/ Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency in the National Assembly maintained that he has been thoroughly equipped to proffer solutions to the myriad of challenges in the State.
The lawmaker told the heterogeneous audience that having studied previous administrations in the State, he has the wherewithal to work at improving the living conditions of the people and turning around the economic fortunes of the masses.
He stressed that he has not been found wanting in delivery, capacity and otherwise in his previous responsibilities in the public service, emphasising that he has the wealth of experience to manage the lives of the people.
Luke praised successive administrations for laying the foundation to the development of the State and assured of his determination to consolidate on the achievements.
The former Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly promised to be the governor of the entire Akwa Ibom people and not for a section.
He appealed the delegates should consider him fit to be elected the standardbearer of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Akwa Ibom State.
Note that barring any last minute adjustment, the PDP primaries to elect candidates will hold on Wednesday, 25th May, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo.
