The Political Leader of Uyo Senatorial District, Senator Effiong Bob, has called on PDP Ward leaders to mobilize support for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He said that although Nsit Ubium has always been PDP, there is the need to still mobilize more support for the party.
The Nsit Ubium born political heavyweight said that in spite of the distractions, the mobilization and state wide consultations for Pastor Umo Eno’s governorship election are ongoing and called on them not to be distracted.
Senator Bob used the occasion of the visit by PDP Ward Chairmen to him to call on them to rededicate themselves to the service of the party as according to him, Nsit Ubium and Akwa Ibom State as a whole will be greater in the years to come.
In their response through the Ward Chairman of Ibiakpan Obotim 2, Mr Ukpong Michael Ukpong, the Ward Chairmen promised to work harder to bring glory to Nsit Ubium. They said that although PDP is like a religion in Nsit Ubium, it is now more so with the governorship of the state coming to Nsit Ubium adding they would be pleased to be part of this history. They thanked Senator Effiong Bob for the recognition given to them.
