SMEDAN Boss To Entrepreneurs: BOOST REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS TO GROW BUSINESSES

The Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria(SMEDAN) Dr Dikko Umaru Radda has charged Akwa Ibom Entrepreneurs to remain committed to engaging themselves in trainings that can help them boost required knowledge and skills, needed to innovate, manage and grow their businesses.

Dr. Radda, who was represented by Mr.Egbula Ilogba made the charge today during the September edition of the Dakkada Networking experience (DNE) which took place today, 24th September, 2021.
According to Radda, SMEDAN, since its inception, has worked hard to fulfill the mandate for which it was created, by serving as the most prudent vehicle for massive Job creation and entrepreneurial development.

Speaking earlier, the SA to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Entrepreneurial Development, Mrs Meflyn Anwana expressed her joy and appreciation to Governor Udom Emmanuel for another amazing opportunity for entrepreneurs to draw from the wells of knowledge and ideas. Anwana said the Udom administration is evidently committed to human capacity development and that Akwa Ibom State is the better for it.

The September edition of the Dakkada Networking Experience (DNE) also featured a business pitch session were participating entrepreneurs pitched different business ideas for a chance to win One Hundred thousand naira(N100,000) in business grant. At the end of the pitch, Miss Abasienyene David emerged tops ahead of 3 other participants.
