Surprises, Empowerment Spree As Ephraim Inyang Marks 56th Birthday

…Adopts 3 Orphans, Donate Cars, Settles Hospital Bills

 

Thursday, 25th November, 2021, will forever remain indelible in the minds of friends, family members, political associates and especially, beneficiaries of huge milk of kindness of Chief of Staff to Governor Udom Emmanuel, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, who used his 56th birthday anniversary as opportunity to put smiles on the faces of Akwa Ibomites.

Among those who were the primary beneficiaries included three orphans adopted by Akparawa Inyang-Eyen and wife, when he took his birthday celebrations to selected orphanages in the State.

They are: a-Nine year old Abigail and Clinton who is Six years old; all inmates of Way to the Nations Children’s Center, 5 Akpanwan Street, Eket, as well as a-Seven Month old Abasifreke, from Motherless Babies Home, ONNA.

 

That’s not all, the celebrant also donated a Lexus 330 SUV car to his Clan Head, Oniong Clan in ONNA, HRH, Etebom (Barr.) Samuel Efik, as well as his Village Head, Ikot Ebiere in ONNA, Eteidung Maxwell Ekpoisia, who received a Toyota Corolla salon car, even as the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Vice President of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Miss Comfort, 400 Level Chemical Engineering student, received full Scholarship.

Earlier, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, accompanied by his wife; Mrs Ime Inyang, close friends and mentees of the celebrant, had visited the General Hospital, Ikot Abasi, where they settled hospital bills for over Ten (10) patients and prayed for their quickest recovery.

On why he embarked on the visit, Inyang-Eyen, quoted Deuteronomy 15:11, which states: “For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.”

During the visits to orphanages, the new Mkpisong of Ekid Nation, told the inmates that whatever that is their situation today does determine what they’ll become tomorrow. He charged the children to be obedient, humble, respectful and take their studies seriously, if they intended having a brighter and rewarding future.

“Who knows what God has in store for these precious children,” he asked rhetorically, adding: “That’s why I came with my dear wife, men of God and few friends to come and celebrate my birthday with you and also pray that no evil shall befall you.”

Assorted food items, including, bags of rice, beans, garri, salt, plantain, cartons of noodles, toiletries, etc were distributed to all homes visited.

Highpoint of the visit was fervent prayers by the orphans to God to grant the heart desires of their benefactor; Ephraim Akparawa Inyang-Eyen and make every seemingly impossible things in his life possible.

Heads of the various orphanages also appreciated the former Commissioner’s consistent benevolence and prayed for his success in his current office and in his future endeavours.

Meanwhile, the Ntrukpum Oniong people of ONNA and Akparawa Ibibio later treated guests to the best of sumptuous meals and drinks at his country home; Ikot Ebiere, ONNA LGA.
