The Founder and General Overseer of Uwem Ministries International, Apostle Uwem Akpan, said the pentecostal Church has in its one year of existence in Akwa Ibom, won several lives to the kingdom of Jesus Christ through their impactful ministration.
According to the Canadian-based woman of God, a good number of worshippers, have also received healings, deliverance from satanic bondage and stronghold of demonic oppression.
Apostle Uwem Akpan dropped the hint at a Press briefing in Uyo, shortly after a-week long programme to mark the first anniversary of Uwem Ministries International.
The maiden anniversary of the Church which had “Supernatural Dominance and Take over” as its theme commenced on Thursday 26th and ended Sunday, 29th May, 2022 at the church auditorium, located at 101 New Stadium Road, off Nung Oku Junction, Uyo.
It featured suya night, donation of trophies and other prizes to worshippers who took part in a football tournament sponsored by the Church, cutting of the anniversary cake, ordination of new ministers amongst others.
Among those who ministered at the four-day programme were Bishop Jonas Katung from Jos, Bishop Elisha Effiong from Uyo and other revered men of God.
Responding to TheHILL Reporter’s question, Apostle Uwem Akpan, urged Christians to shine as light in the world through their lifestyles, saying, Jesus Christ had given them an example to follow even when they are being persecuted in the world.
Meanwhile, the woman of God has invited lovers of God and members of the public to the graduation ceremony of a week Leadership Training programme organized by Hopelife Institute, Canada in collaboration with her Church, coming up this Saturday, 4th June, 2022.
She announced that certificates from a Canadian-based University, would be issued to graduands at the event holding 10am at the Church auditorium, 101 New Stadium Road, off Nung Oku Junction, Uyo.
